Ruth Strauss Foundation is a charity in the memory of Ruth Strauss who died on the 29th of December, 2018 from lung cancer. Last summer her husband Andrew Strauss an international cricket player launched this foundation to:

  • Provide emotional,psychological and well-being support to patients and their families going through a similar experience. 
  • Fund research into rare lung cancer.

My Story: My ‘Gift Bags’ during COVID-19 lockdown in benefit of the NHS Since the Corona virus began the world has changed, with nowhere it seems being immune. I’ve kept myself busy speaking with family and friends on the internet, exercising daily in the park and repainting my chair, but it has also given me time to think about how I can contribute. Even though almost everything is closed right now and everyone is suffering, this does not mean we have to close our hearts to others.
